Classical ballet will always be my favorite form of dance. From the time I began dancing ballet, I have always envied the effortlessness and grace of the art form and longed to become a prima ballerina from then on. Ballet is simple, timeless, and delicate, but still captures the attention of its viewers. That’s kind of the same way that I like to describe my personal style. I like to implement all of these inspirations from classical ballet and it can definitely be seen in my outfit for this post.
As the days continue to get warmer, I was able to wear a skirt for the first time this season today. Using my S.T.A.C technique as usual, I reached for this faux leather skirt for texture, and kept a classic silhouette on top with a crisp white button down. I also paired these poppy colored ballet flats for an added flare of color as well as a statement. The silver accents added a bit of edge to the outfit as well.
