When you begin to get bored of wearing the same pieces or feel that your outfits are starting to become repetitive, the best solution to re-vamp your closet without spending any money, is to utilize your pieces in a new way.
Something that I have been doing recently is wearing my dresses as a top, and pairing them with fitted bottoms to balance out the silhouette. Reinventing clothing items like a dress, is a very simple way to make a subtle statement in your outfit as well.
Here I've chosen this silk lace khaki green dress which I purchased from H&M during this past fall season, and paired it with white cropped denim jeans. The side slits of this dress and the minimal lace detailing at the bottom make it easy to get away with being worn as a top. Neutral tones like this khaki here, seems to be the "it" color for this season, making it even easier to incorporate into my Spring/Summer wardrobe.
Pairing the outfit with minimalist black heels keeps the outfit simply chic, just how I like it.
