This weekend was very fun. I was able to spend time with my family and explore more parts of NYC. I love being able to do spontaneous things in a city like New York. There is always something fun around.
This time around, I went to the Battery Dance Festival in Battery Park and saw some amazing dancers perform. A quick trip to the National Museum of the American Indian was nice and the architecture of the building both inside and out was incredible.
The next day I met up with my family at Felix of course and we enjoyed having a feast including the major staple steak. For my outfit this day, I wore a thrifted suede pencil skirt that I got about 3 years ago, just before the burst of the suede skirt trend and I definitely plan to wear it some more this Fall. Afterwards, a visit to the Museum of Modern Art was awesome. The Andy Warhol exhibit might have been my favorite. We ended the evening by taking a stroll through Chinatown and Little Italy. It was definitely a fun weekend.
